First stretch goal unlocked!
All, we did it! The first stretch goal has been unlocked! Yes! Colors for everyone!
Colors!
We are working on mockups of the Doppler in different colors and we will share them with you when we send you our post campaign survey a couple weeks after the campaign is over. This will allow you to choose which color you like the best and allow us to plan for production.

We also have to celebrate 1,000 backers a HUGE milestone that we hit today! Thanks to everyone that has shared the Doppler with their friends, family, and coworkers. For those yet that haven't, please do! We only have 9 days left in the campaign and we want to hit as many stretch goals as possible!

Hey guys, first off we just wanted to say thanks again to everyone for being incredibly supportive and awesome! Make sure you check out Kickbooster to get some money back into your pocket!
We have listened and have decided on the following stretch goals to make the Sandman Doppler even more awesome! Here is what we are announcing today:
Colors! - $120,000
If we hit this stretch goal we will make the Doppler available in 6 new colors! Blue, Grey/Off-white, Pink, Green, Orange, Red. We will have the classic black available as well. Due to manufacturing costs of a different color, we have to have around 100 backers pick a color in order for it to be made.
The color options!
Wake up to internet radio/music - $150,000
This was one of our most requested features, being able to wake up to the music source of your choice. We will have TuneIn radio (for AM/FM stations) and Spotify available at launch.
Projector / Wake-up light - $250,000
We will design a projector and wake-up light accessory the Doppler. This product will be an add-on which will help you wake up as well as tell the time in the middle of the night by projecting the time onto the ceiling. We are aiming for a $39 - $59 price point. This product is still in the early phases, but we are hoping to take advantage of the awesome community of Doppler backers and get your input and comments on the design. Here are some initial sketches of the product, let us know your thoughts in the comments!

Fellow Doppler supporters,
We are one week into our 4-week campaign and we are almost at $100,00 in pledges and over 750 backers! This is incredible and thanks again for making this happen. But... we want to make sure as many people as possible find out about the Doppler during our short Kickstarter campaign. So how do we get you guys to entice your friends to be supporters? By giving you money back for everyone that signs up! (Seriously.)
We have partnered with our friends over at Kickbooster who have an awesome and very simple Kickstarter referral system! Here's how it works...
3. It will generate a custom URL for you to share like crazy. Every time someone pledges on our campaign you'll get 10% of that pledge.
4. Once the campaign is over we will send money to Kickbooster and then they will deposit your earnings into your personal PayPal account.
Yes, this is literally money in your pocket just for spreading the word about the Doppler. It's really that simple. Our average pledge is around $120 so if you get one of your friends to back the campaign you'll get $12 dollars into your account. If you get 10 of your friends to pledge, you get a free Doppler! It's really easy, so, please share!
Another way we are looking at getting more backers is by cross promotions. If you have backed other Kickstarter's before you'll be familiar with them and how it works. Basically, we advertise other's projects on the bottom of our updates and they advertise ours in the same way. Usually, the projects are pretty cool so you should check them out if you have a chance!

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE FIRST DAY! Over 65k in the first 26 hours??!?! WOW!
Thanks so much for helping us hit our goal not only in the first 24 hours but in the first 38 minutes!
Please don't forget to share the project with everyone you can! We may have reached our goal, but we want the Doppler in as many hands as possible. We are also coming up with some awesome stretch goals to help make the product as incredible as possible. These will be announced in a couple weeks. This is just the beginning and we have a lot further to go, and with your support, we can make it happen!
